Tuna
Fresh Tuna supply has bounced back. Prices have dropped significantly as a result. Boats that left after New Years have been arriving back over the past week, which has caused the market to become a bit flooded.
Live Lobster
Live Lobsters prices are still increasing daily due to high demand in the Asian market from Lunar New Year.
Scallops
The scallops market is still very competitive. Large sizes, like U10 remain in tight supply. On both U10 and 10/20s landings have been low and vendors are fighting for supply. Even with a slower pace of business, the landings are still so low that prices have remained at the highs we have seen over the past months.
Shrimp, Octopus & Squid
- We will be receiving more frozen Cuttlefish by Tuesday 2/8, both the 2-4 oz CUTAAA and the 3-5 oz CUT200Z.
- Also arriving in the next day or so in Skull Island U8 Head-On Prawns from Australia. These tiger prawns are MSC certified.
